At The Yorkshire Foot Hospital, based within The Lawrence Clinic, we understand that plans can change. To ensure timely care for all our patients and minimise disruption to clinic services, we ask that you please review our Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy:
1. Appointment Cancellations
• Please provide at least 48 hours’ notice if you need to cancel your appointment.
2. Rescheduling Appointments
• If you need to reschedule, kindly contact us as soon as possible.
• Rescheduling more than 48 hours before your appointment will not incur a fee.
• Rescheduling within 48 hours may be treated as a late cancellation.
3. Cancellation Fees
• Appointments cancelled with less than 48 hours’ notice will be subject to a cancellation fee or the loss of your deposit.
• Missed appointments without notification (“no-show”) will be charged the full appointment fee.
4. How to Cancel or Reschedule

• Cancellations via voicemail or email are accepted if received within the required notice period.
5. Exceptions
We understand that emergencies and unforeseen circumstances can occur. Please contact us if you believe an exception applies; we will consider these on a case-by-case basis.
Optional Add-On Statements
• Late arrival: If you arrive more than 15 minutes late, we may need to reschedule your appointment.
Important Note Regarding Surgery Dates: Because surgical procedures require a dedicated team (Consultant, Nursing Staff, Theatre Technicians and the purchasing of the specialist equipment for your procedure), we require 7 days’ notice for any changes to a scheduled surgery. Cancellations within this window may result in the forfeiture of your Deposit Amount to cover administrative and facility costs.
