The Yorkshire Foot Hospital is based within The Lawrence Clinic in Pudsey, Leeds.
We have been providing Foot Surgery services since 1997. The Yorkshire Foot Hospital still remains the first and only dedicated community Outpatient Podiatric Surgery Unit in the UK. The Yorkshire Foot Hospital is led by one of the UK’s leading Consultant Podiatric Surgeons
Why choose The Yorkshire Foot Hospital?
The Yorkshire Foot Hospital is an Outpatient facility, meaning you do not require a hospital bed. You are discharged home following a short recovery.
Following your procedure, your surgeon will provide all necessary post-operative medications. Your nurse will provide detailed care instructions, alongside a choice of refreshments and light snacks.
All surgical procedures are performed under local anaesthetic, meaning recovery is much quicker and far less of a risk compared to general anaesthetic.
You are generally not put into post-operative plaster casts to speed up your recovery. We will provide you with crutches if necessary.
Surgical procedures generally do not last for more than 1 hour.
Most patients, following their surgical procedure, are back into recreational footwear eg. trainers, 2 weeks after their surgery.
You will recover in your own private room, with individual care provided by one of our post op nursing team.
We provide all our patients with a 24-hour on-call service should you require any help or advice.
Our team of Consultant Podiatric Surgeons are here to provide you with professional help and information on all your foot and ankle problems.
The Yorkshire Foot Hospital has a highly qualified team of Theatre and nursing staff supported by a 24 hour on-call post operative team.
